Post 10: English language challenge

Hi everyone! In this post I will talk about my experience learning English at university. I have to say it was a good experience because I could learn words I did not know and, especially, reinforce what I already knew. In respect to the blogs, I think it’s a great form to learn how to write in English and develop the formation of sentences, use the conjugation of verbs, among other things. But, sometime I disliked the issues about we wrote, because I had to ask myself what I would like to do in the future, when I finish the career and being honest, I have not ever thought about that! So I had many troubles for write those blogs. The aspects of my English that need to be improves are speaking, because I have troubles with the pronunciation and to order the words correctly. Post 9: Changes to my study programme

Hi everyone! In this post I will talk about some changes that could be made to my study programme (I am studying geography). First, I think we need a subject in which we can learn to use “Excel”, because is necessary to make many of the works. Besides, know to use this program simplifies the life in many aspects. In respect to the workload, I think is not too hard, but sometimes all the works and test are accumulated at the end of the semester and the workload increase. On the other hand, the faculty facilities are deficient, from the point of view of the infrastructure, one of the bathrooms is in bad conditions, I mean, the doors don’t close and there are many toilets that doesn’t work, besides the laboratory of geography is very small. On the other hand, when it’s raining, we can’t stay in the yard and there is no a place to stay in winter. Post 8: Summer plans

Hi everyone! In this post, I must talk about my plans or ideas for this summer. I will start saying that I hate the summer, because is too hot, whatever I do it’s always a martyrdom in summer. I don’t know what I going to do this summer holidays and, for the moment I don’t care, but I would like to scape to the south, at least, the climate is more pleasant there. Considering that I have no plans for this summer, I don’t know who would like to be with in summer. But, I hope to see my friends of the school, I haven’t seen they long time ago. After all, holidays are the only opportunity to see my friends, because they are too busy. So, I think it’s a great idea to go out to melt together! On the other hand, the activities I thinking to do are finish my last book, and read another one. I would like to do all those activities that the university does not let you to do. Post 7: Tv shows ans series

Hi everyone! In this post I must to talk about my favorite Tv show or series, but I don’t like to watch many series, because these not draw my attention, I mean, I prefer to watch movies. On the other hand, I try to spend time doing something else in my free time. I remember, once I try to watch “The big bang theory”, but I got bored with this. Although, I have always been a fan of The Simpsons and this is the only series I watch for the moment. I like this series because is very funny and I like the stupid things that Homer do, I don’t know another reason why I like this one. Although, I have to say I like until the 15th season. Considering that I am not a fan of the series in general, I don’t have a favorite kind of series, but I think I enjoy funny series. Post 6: A postgraduate course.

Hi everyone! In this post I will talk about a postgraduate course I would consider taking when I finish my career. In the last post I had to write about my future job, it was very difficult to talk about my future and what I will going to do when that is over and this time will not be the exception, I mean I haven’t even though about the issue for my thesis! But, I am sure that I would like to do a postgraduate course, the matter is I don’t know about what, so I will try to say something in this regard. One of my reason to do a postgraduate is to improve my knowledge and to specialize in something related to environment or natural hazards. I don’t know where I would like to study, however, I believe study in another country is always a great opportunity, so if I have the opportunity of study in another country I will take it! Post 5: My future job.

Hi everyone!  In this post I will talk about a job I would like to have in the future. I think, as many of my classmates, I would like to work in something related to my career (Geography), after all, is for what we are studying. I imagine it, as all the works, not very entertaining, but I would like it could be outdoor. Although, I’m a person who doesn’t like the changes, I wouldn’t like to stay in the same place working, in fact I don’t like the offices. If I could, I would like to live out of Santiago. But, in the case of I couldn’t leave this city, I would like to travel sometimes. I really don’t care about my salary, this is not a very important thing for me, I only want to be economically stable, but I would like to travel to another country in the future holidays. Post 4. Free Themed Topic: My favorite book.

Hi everyone! In this post I have to talk about my favorite book. I don’t know what to talk, because I don’t have a favorite author, but I have many favorites authors like Edgar Allan Poe, Arthur Conan Doyle, J. R. R. Tolkien and J. K. Rowling. On the other hand, I think my favorite kind of books are detective novels and my favorites are Sherlock Holmes: The sign of the four by Arthur Conan Doyle and The Premature Burial by Edgar Allan Poe, but I like fairy tales too. As a child I liked stories about ships and pirates, and I dreamed with cross the ocean. As you can see, I can’t choose one, I think it is not necessary to have a favorite book because you can have many! The last book I read are some stories from a text collection of Edgar Allan Poe but actually, my last book is The Lords of the Rings: The two towers by J. R. R.
